When Gina and Shawn of King Kog were all of a sudden faced with a drastic rent hike, an ever changing and increasingly expensive New York City, and a question of “What now?” in terms of their family, their shop, and their 2 year old daughter Talulah, they decided to pack up and head west, closer to home for Gina and closer to grandma and grandpa for Talulah.
I documented as much as I could on my cross country drive with Shawn, and fellow King Kog team mate Josh Rovner. This is section one of a series of three posts about my trip out west and my time in San Francisco with my favorite people and their amazing lives.
